Meals and nutrition
We provide a peanut- and tree-nut-free, allergen-conscious environment, with seasonal summer and winter menus on four-week rotations. Toddler and preschool meals are prepared on site. School-Age families are asked to provide packed lunches and snacks, with additional food available at the centre.

Fees and subsidy
The centre participates in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care system. Families may be eligible for County of Lambton fee subsidy based on circumstances. Our supervisor will be happy to provide the current fee structure and answer questions about eligibility and payment arrangements. Please contact us for details.
Parent communication
At Beacons of Light Daycare, we use Lillio to help families stay connected with their child’s day. Through the app, parents and guardians can receive updates about activities and learning experiences, view photos of special moments, follow rest periods and toileting routines, and exchange messages with our educators. Lillio also helps families access invoices and payment information, making everyday communication and administration more convenient. Our team will be happy to help you get started with Lillio and answer any questions about using the app.

Safety, well-being and family partnerships
Children’s well-being is at the heart of our programs. Educators maintain active supervision, required staff-to-child ratios and appropriate health and safety practices. We welcome individual needs and work with families to support each child’s development.
Hours and closures
We operate Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., subject to our published annual calendar. Please contact us for current holiday closures, professional development days and other scheduled closures.

How do I apply for childcare?
Families begin through Sarnia–Lambton OneList. Please see our Enrolment page for the application steps and contact the supervisor if you need assistance. Applying does not guarantee an available space.
How can I learn about current fees or subsidies?
